Welcome to Ledyard Garden Club

Membership is open to anyone interested in gardening and related fields and is not limited to Ledyard residents. All levels of knowledge and ability and all ages are welcome.

• Learning the art of gardening and related topics while making new friends
• Working on civic, historical and beautification projects
• Attending speaker programs on various topics including gardening in changing climates, flower arranging, birds
• Joining in on fundraising projects as we support the community

• Join at least one Committee and support the Committee's efforts
• Attend Club's regular monthly meetings
• Volunteer at the annual plant sale, wreath making night and various Nathan Lester House Garden cleanups
• Support the hostess assignments by providing snacks for a club meeting
• Pay annual membership dues

• Meetings held at the Ledyard Senior Center, 12 Van Tassel Drive, Gales Ferry CT 06335
• The club meets the 1st Monday of each month from September through June at 7pm except on designated holidays when meetings are moved to the 2nd Monday of that month. Club dinners replace December and June meetings
• Meetings are free and open to the public

• We suggest you attend 2-3 meetings as a guest before committing to membership. This will give you a chance to meet us, learn about our club efforts and determine if you feel our club suits you
